## Overview Seedream 5.0 Lite, from ByteDance, is fast, affordable, instruction-following text-to-image. It is a practical default for everyday generation: illustrations, concept art, social visuals and mood boards, in a choice of resolutions and aspect ratios, with the option to generate several variations in one run. ## What it does well - **Instruction following.** Describe the subject and setting and the model follows the brief. - **Two resolutions.** 2K for standard use, 3K for extra sharpness. - **Variations in one run.** Ask for up to 15 images at once and choose the best. - **Eight aspect ratios,** from square to 21:9 panorama and 9:16 portrait. - **Prompt optimisation.** Standard mode prioritises accuracy; fast mode prioritises speed. - **A watermark toggle,** off by default, if you want a mark embedded. ## Prompting tips Name the subject first, then the setting and the style. Use standard prompt optimisation when accuracy matters and fast when you are exploring. Generate several variations for the same prompt rather than re-running it one by one. Use 2K to explore and 3K for the version you keep. ## Limits to know This model is billed on the real cost of each run, and the price for your settings is quoted on the Run button before you spend.
